Nate Schweber is a freelance journalist whose work has appeared in The New York Times, ProPublica, The Guardian, and elsewhere. His 2022 book “This America of Ours: Bernard and Avis DeVoto and the Forgotten Fight to Save the Wild” won High Plains Book Award and a first place award from the Outdoor Writers Association of America. Born and raised in Missoula, Montana, he currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
